THE MONOLIDIC ORIGIN STORY

2006. four guys decided to try the "band thing" because theyre living in Los Angeles, the city of quartz & elusive dreams, and the writing thing, the acting thing, the filmmaking thing, the interpretive dance thing, the installation artist thing -- none of those options panned out. Allen sings and plays the rhythm guitar. Eugene handles the lead and the noise and the feedback, while David plucks the bass with a plectrum. Duane likes to bang on the drums. a band was born.

Monolidic is available to play bars, cafes, restaurants, hot dog stands, frat and sorority houses, backyards, barbeques, birthdays, quinceaneras, bar-bat mizvahs and other such coming-of-age/adulthood parties, fundraisers, political campaigns, television shows, funerals, cremations, festivals, ethnic celebrations, going-away parties, retirement parties, office social mixers, and weddings.
